I'm going to complain
Yep...write it down, this is a full out whine, no ifs ands or buts. I've been baching it for a whole week now(8 days actually) and not one person has called to see how I am, nor offer me a meal or anything. Does that bite or what? I mean, we invite folks over all the time when their families or spouses are out of town.
Just doesn't seem right, sorry for the brief rant, just bothers me...don't worry, I'm not going hungry, just lonely.

Awww! You want me to call my old church session and get on them??? They are always asking when we are coming back!!! I say, "When they take care of their people!" Hee Hee! By the way -- If you feel like coming our way for dinner let me know!!! I got food for Christmas from my work! But our fridge/freezer is breaking down (we're having to grill steaks tonite -- boo hoo -- but after a huge Lord's Day meal) and we have some filets that will need to eaten soon! Email (in the right column of my blog) if you want to come for dinner sometime this week! My hubby is off on Thursday's so Wed or Thurs is great! And we recently received a case of wine from my hubby's parents, too! Food and drink = being merry!

My hubby wanted to know why I did not mention the $75 bottle of single malt scotch he got for his birthday, too!

Now you know what if feels like to be me, except "bachelorettin' it" isn't a commonly excepted phrase.
You could be like me and just invite yourself over to someone's house when you're feeling lonely.
