A skating we will go

When we lived in Monroe, we used to go roller skating, down here we go ice skating. Yep, ICE skating, every Friday afternoon. That's pretty cool, but I'm going to hold out for the homeschool group that goes snow skiing together every Friday.

Wow...I went ice skating with the kids...like actually out there on the ice with them...man, I forgot how bad my balance was! I didn't fall once, but I almost lost it one really good time. I leaned back to far and commenced to do the "weirdo falling backwards with skates on while trying to not bust his ass dance" and succeeded at staying up. I certainly got plenty of applause for my "athletic" prowness. My kids want me to do that every time we go. Uh, sorry, that kind of thing happens once and only once...dad's not really that good, he just got lucky!
