Fishing again

The boys and I have been fishing again. The bream and bluegill are biting well, but we've proven that we are not exactly going to be threatening Bill Dance's job anytime soon. Candice's parents are here and her dad has been going fishing with us everyday. We caught a mess of panfish the other day and had a good fish fry that night. Her parents are actually looking for land and/or a house/trailer to buy and move over here. Many years ago, I'd have been totally against that. Today, her dad is retired, either they or us are easier to get along with, and we actually enjoy their company. Her dad is talking about buying enough land to put some other trailers on and collect the lot rent to cover their own costs. He's a retired electrician...worked hard for a long time, ready to take it easy.
He's been teaching the kids the little things about fishing that grandpas are best at...very sweet to see and hear about.
